Deleting your account permanently removes your profile and all associated data, including your photos, guest lists, and planning tools. If you only want to stop receiving promotional emails, you can update your communication preferences without deleting your account.
Before you continue
Deleting your account can't be undone. Make sure you've downloaded and backed up your Wedshoots photos before proceeding.
Steps to delete your account
- Go to Settings from your profile menu.
- Select Account Settings.
- Scroll to the bottom of the page and click Delete Account.
- Confirm your choice.
What happens after you request deletion?
- Immediate access: You'll be logged out immediately and lose access to your profile, guest lists, albums, and planning tools.
- Data retention: To comply with applicable privacy laws (such as GDPR), some data may be retained for a limited period and accessed only when required for legal, fraud prevention, or security purposes.
- Permanent deletion: Once any applicable legal retention period has ended, your personal data will be permanently deleted from our systems.
Prefer to stop receiving emails instead?
If you'd like to keep your account but receive fewer emails, you can update your notification preferences instead.
- Go to Settings > Notifications.
- Uncheck Commercial Communications.
You'll still receive essential service emails, such as direct messages from vendors you've contacted or other notifications related to your account.
