Promotions can help highlight an offer on your storefront and can also be used for certain featured campaigns.
What can a promotion include?
Depending on the promotion type, you can offer:
- A percentage discount.
- A gift.
- A specific offer.
- Other benefits for couples.
Make sure the promotion accurately reflects what you currently offer.
Permanent promotions
A permanent promotion does not have a fixed end date.
If you create a promotion manually, you may be able to set an end date.
If you create a promotion through a discount option without an end date, make sure the offer remains available. An outdated promotion may cause confusion for couples.
Adding a photo
A promotion can include a photo.
The photo should be appropriate for your business and should not contain:
- Watermarks.
- Contact information.
- Promotional text that is not part of the offer.
- Unnecessary text or graphics.
If you do not add a specific photo, the system may use your main storefront photo.
If a photo cannot be validated, you may be notified and asked to replace it.
Promotions and campaigns
Some Newsletter campaigns require an active promotion.
If you have been offered a campaign that requires a promotion and you do not currently have one, create the promotion before the campaign is scheduled.
If you do not want to run a promotion, the available campaign options may depend on the campaign offered to you.
